The children’s book “Linnea in Monet’s Garden” was zee arteest’s first introduction to the master of Impressionism, Claude Monet. Monet became a major influence and continues to be inspiration in Linnea’s work.

In 2019, Linnea would fulfill a lifelong dream and visit the pink house and garden in Giverny. During this trip, Linnea learned the cantankerous Monet would send his gardeners out to the pond before dawn to wash the road dust off the water lilies before he painted.

This painting was created as part of the “Art Walk In The Park” presented by St Louis Park Friends of the Arts.
